DRIVER’S AGE:
For categories A, AA, A1, B, BB, BA, BJ, C, CA, CH minimum age 21 years, having a driving license of at least 1 year and for all other categories 23 years. Maximum age limit 75 years.
YOUNG DRIVER(S) FEE
Daily charge of €20 plus VAT for young driver ages between 21 – 22. Maximum charge 200 €.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER(S)
Daily charge of €5 plus VAT for each additional driver. Maximum charge 110 €.
PAYMENT METHOD:
For all categories, the lessee must present a credit/debit card accepted by SELECTA to cover the amounts related to the guarantee and the payment of the rental cost (for non-prepaid reservations). For every car rental, a credit or debit card is always required as a guarantee, even if the renter pays the rental in cash.
DRIVING LICENCE
The driver must hold a license for at least one year. His driving license must be Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for non-EU countries).
WARRANTY
For rentals in Greece, upon receipt of the car, a deposit amount will be reserved on the driver’s credit / debit card which will be returned in its full at the end of the rental, if no other charges arise. The release of the amount can take up to 14 days depending on the issuing bank of the card. The amount of the warranty varies by car category. Analytically:

A deposit equal to the excess amount per car group will be held on the renter’s credit/debit card.
PRICE AND INFRINGEMENTS
All fines and administrative penalties resulting from the driver’s fault are fully borne by the lessee.
SAFETY
All SELECTA-authorized car drivers are exempt for damage to the rented car by fire and are insured with civil liability to third parties for death, bodily injury, and property damage. All 2 coverages are subject to the general terms of SELECTA’s contract with its insurance company.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
The renter’s liability for damage to the rented vehicle may be limited, provided that the Traffic Code is not violated, damages to the underside of the car and the wheels are not covered.
Super Collision Damage Waiver (Super-CDW)
The renter can limit his liability even further (SCDW) to the minimum charge by paying additional as below

DRIVER AND OCCUPANT COVERAGE (PAI)
It is offered free of charge and covers Compensation in case of death, Total / Partial disability up to 50.000 € and for hospitalizations 1500 €.
ACCIDENT FILE COSTS (IAF)
The driver is charged €35 + VAT in case of accident, regardless of fault, as well as in case of a fine resulting from a violation of the Greek Law. This amount is non-refundable.
CHARGE FOR DELIVERY TO THE AIRPORT
Start renting at airports: All rentals starting at airport stations are charged an additional 9% of the basic rental price.

GAS/OIL POLICY
The renter on the return of the vehicle delivers the car at the same level of gasoline / diesel that received it. If this is less than the one who received it, then it will be charged on the spot with the difference between Fuels and in addition the fuel service charge.
REFUELING CHARGE
Same to same fuel policy. In case fuel is not at the same level a Fee €15 plus VAT and plus missing fuel will be charged.
Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance Package is 6 € per day covers any roadside assistance for fuel service, dead battery, key lockout, lost key replacement delivery, tire change service. Maximum charge 66 €.
CHILD SEATS
Available only after reservation and with a charge of € 5 daily plus VAT. Maximum charge 70 €.
GPS
Available only after reservation and with a charge of 7 € per day plus VAT. Maximum charge 90 €.
ROOF RACKS
Available only after reservation and with a charge of 10 € per day plus VAT.
SNOW CHAINS
Available only after reservation and with a charge of 10 € per day plus VAT.
BIOLOGICAL WASH
In case you need additional cleaning – biological, the charge is 80 € plus VAT.
CAR TYPE CHANGES
The company reserves the right, subject to availability, to provide a different type of car from that of the original reservation with a corresponding, or larger category
Delivery-Collection Policy
Charges for each delivery or pick-up may applied depending on location, klm etc.
RECEIPT-DELIVERY
Charge for each delivery or pick-up after office hours, 25€.
Grace Period
A rental day is calculated as 24 hours and 30 minutes. In case the rental exceeds this period, an additional rental day will be charged.
Late Return Charge
All customers must inform SELECTA about a possible extension of the rental within the opening hours of the stores, to avoid the imposition of the Late Return Charge. If the car is returned late or more than the agreed return time, then there will be a Late Return Charge at a cost of 20€, plus VAT, for each day or part thereof, in addition to the cost of the extra rental day.
SYSTEM “LEASE HERE-LEAVE THERE”:
It is offered between Selecta stations only after written approval and at a special charge in consultation with Selecta.
OUT-OF-BORDER RENTAL
Only with prior written approval of Selecta.
TRANSPORT BY FERRY
Only with prior written approval of Selecta. Any damages caused to the rental car during its transportation are not covered by any insurance. Ferry transfer fee is 40-250 € plus VAT upon request and is not permitted to every island. Valid only between Ionian Islands, Kefalonia-Ithaca-Lefkada-Zakynthos.
TAXES
All prices and charges listed on the form are charged with VAT and at some stations a municipal tax of 0.5% on the rental price is charged.
